Below is a concise checklist we use to ensure assessments start smoothly and deliver clear, actionable outcomes. Estimates for duration, team size, and cost are handled during scoping and are not listed here.

Pre-kickoff

  • Identify primary point of contact and stakeholders.
  • Provide a high-level inventory of in-scope hosts, apps, and networks.
  • Share any architecture diagrams or access procedures required for testing.

Kickoff & Rules

  • Kickoff meeting to align scope and rules of engagement.
  • Provide a point of contact and environment inventory (in-scope hosts/services).
  • Agree on evidence handling, masking rules, and any excluded systems.
  • Set communication cadence for updates and remediation verification.
  • Deliver final report and portal access; schedule remediation review if requested.

Deliverables

  • Executive summary and prioritized remediation roadmap.
  • Technical findings with reproduction steps, evidence, and remediation guidance.
  • Access to the client portal with interactive views and supporting artifacts.
  • Optional remediation verification and knowledge transfer sessions.
